Located in the frontage of TWOFOURTWO is Launceston’s little piece of Italy, Café Mondello.

Owners Daniel Rosilli and James Armstrong make everything in-house; the bread, soups, cakes and baked beans; and focus on providing fresh and seasonal produce.

Since the doors to Café Mondello opened in July word has spread quickly about their aromatic coffee and seasonal food and the cafe is always bustling, especially on weekends.

Mr Rosilli’s Italian heritage has provided him with wealth of knowledge of traditional fare. There’s usually a secret family recipe on the ever changing blackboard menu.

The Café completes the TWOFOURTWO building, tying in perfectly with the ethos of stylish, modern fare focusing on the best Tasmanian products on offer.

The accommodation works hand in hand with the hospitality scene in Launceston and Café Mondello complements and enhances the appeal of TWOFOURTWO.

Café Mondello is open from 7am until 4:30pm from Tuesday to Sunday and can deliver your fare to your apartment door.
